For Immediate Release: Indianapolis, Indiana – Today the American Basketball Association (ABA) announced that ESPN3 – ESPN’s multi-screen #sports network – will live stream a selection of the ABA’s First to 50 regular season games. First to 50 is the ABA’s new modernized take on basketball which will premiere to the nation on ESPN3 this fall. This will be the historic league’s 50th anniversary season and the 17th season of play since being revitalized in 1999.
“This new agreement makes ESPN3 the home of the 2017 ABA finals and semifinals,” stated ABA CEO & co-founder Joe Newman
ESPN3 will live stream the ABA’s First to 50 regular season games from early November until March 5 leading to the ABA playoffs. Live coverage will include defending ABA champion Jacksonville Giants, South Florida, Steel City Yellow Jackets, Jersey Express, The Chicago Steam and more.
This will be in addition to the touring partnership with the Royal Heir Entertainment for a 30 City benefit tour.
